"M....mates?" She questioned, her brow furrowed in confusion as she looked up at him. She was leaning fully back onto his arms, trusting him completely not to let her fall as she stared into his dark brown eyes. "We're mates?" She repeated again, shaking her head a little. "Dane, I think your mistaken, we don't even get along half the time. More then half the time. Three fourths of the time really." She nodded at that, as if to make sure that he understood. "And what if we are mates and this doesn't...doesn't work out. I mean, this is a lot different than what I am used too, you know? This is a big adjustement. This is a lot to put on me at once too." Her brow furrowed, grumpy a bit before she shook her head and pushed that mood aside. "I was all...post sex happy and content and then you got all broody and now your telling me we'll die without one another?" She shook her head, letting out a soft breath as she gently shifted out of his arms, starting to pace on the large balcony. It was just an awful lot to take in and she was feeling overwhelmed again, she seemed to feel overwhelmed a lot when she was around him. Her brow furrowed and she raised her hand to rub at her temples, feeling the makings of a head ache going on. Her eyes moved up to him, her brow still furrowed and her eyes questioning. "Do you even want this?" She questioned softly, her eyes searching his. "This..this isn't fair, really. What if you had found someone else in your harem that were really compatiable with? That you didn't fight with every other hour? That...that knows how to be a dragon. God, Dane, you are like...king around here. You need someone who can handle that."
