Once more she sighed, though this time she leaned back against his chest and let his closeness comfort her. Closing her eyes, she rested her head back against his shoulder and tightened his arms around her waist, instructing him without words to hold her tighter. It had been so long since she had been held like this by him and she felt suddenly how much she had missed it. It would be amazing, absolutely amzing to be held in his arms all through the night, to feel his legs twined through hers and his large hands on her body, even just in rest. Inhaling deeply, she took in the comforting aroma of their combined scents, the sweet and musky mix of it making her nearly groan aloud in contement. Gently, without her realizing it, her fingers caressed his knuckles where they where resting against her stomach before she finally turned her attention away from her mate and too the largest egg that was starting to get large cracks through it. "I kind of want to keep the shells. Is that weird?" She had no idea the protocol of all this but it was kind of a momentous thing. Even though she didn't really feel like a 'mom', she was sure that real moms did that sort of thing - kept the first tooth and all that, a lock of hair, so why couldn't she keep pieces of each shell? "They will be little babies by the way, you don't punish babies." But maybe you punished baby dragons, like you would a puppy who did a bad thing. Puppies were never to young to be disciplined really, were they? Well, maybe when they were really little, like not having their eyes open and still squirming on their bellies. Her eyes perked up a bit as a large crack travelled the side of the egg and a claw was seen poking out through the crack, the little one inside desperately trying to break open a hole big enough for him to crawl through. Unconsciously, her fingers tightened on Dane's, wanting to share this moment with him - wanting to feel like a real family. Sure, she had always pictured having her first baby in a hospital, and only having one of them and...it not having scales but this was monumental in it's own way, even if it wasn't what she had planned for her life.
