Ran across this while perusing my notes on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and thought it was a good example to illustrate one part of C.B.T....the all or nothing thinking and how you could change the way you thought about that anatomy course you're struggling with.

All-or-nothing thinking:

Try thinking in shades. If you failed a test don't think of it as a 'total' failure because this is not true.

i.e. If the passing grade for a test is 60% and you score a 55% then you're only 5% off from passing, so how could that be a total failure if you knew over 90% of the information required to pass the test? See?
