I don't know if that is from the pill or not, but I know that I always gain a couple of pounds of water weight before my period and lose it when my period is done. When I was on birth control (the patch) it caused me to gain weight. If you haven't been eating more, then I would think that it was either the pills or your period. I would wait to see if you go back to your normal size after your period has run it's course. Then if it is your pills then you can talk to your doctor and know for sure what is going on and see if there is something else that you might be able to try, like the lighter version of Ortho-tricyclen or something like.
