Try Valeriann root or catnip (ask your pharmacist). They're natural herbal sleep remedies. Also chammomile tea works well. Try to make yourself go to bed at the same time every night, regardless if you're feeling tired or not. Avoid exercise within 3 hours of going to bed, alcohol and nicotine. Keep your bedroom a place for sleep (and for those over 21 adult activities only) ;-) Don't have a tv, stereo or anything else in your bedroom and try to keep to a routine that winds you down before attempting to go to bed.

I have had the same problem for what seems centuries! When my husband goes on business trips (like now) I try to keep to the same routine we set for ourselves when he's home. Otherwise I'm back to the schedule I had when I was single...insomnia and up all hours surfing, watching tv and plain old worrying about the end of the world. You're not alone. But try some of these suggestions...they do help!

Good luck, sweetie! And good night & sweet dreams. :o)
