He rolled his eyes at Remy comparing Gia and his relationship to his marriage to Shay. "Remy, you and Shay are the most perfect couple I think anyone has ever seen. Really, it's enough to make someone sick at times. I highly doubt any problems you had were anything compared to the shit other couples go through." He pursed his lips, his brow furrowed. "I mean, problem within your relationship of course. You two have been through hell and back but you did it together. She didn't run off when things got rough. Damn it, Shay nearly died but she trusts you to take care of her and the situation. She's not running off to foreign countries to handle it herself because she trusts you to take care of her." He raked a hand through his hair, an action he rarely did because he was so mental about his hair. His eyes darted into the living room and he briefly smiled. "Does he always stay awake until your with Shay? He's fighting it like hell." It appeared that not only was Chase smart, he was also brave as hell and tough as nails when he needed to be. She looked over at her husband, a smile crossing her face for a moment. "Yeah, he probably is. He's as nosy as an old woman in a hairdressers sometimes...but it's just cuz he cares and worries about his people." She turned her eyes back to Gia, her brow furrowed a little. "Remy isn't perfect, Gia. I love him more than anything and think he's amazing but I have no problem seeing his faults either. He's a workaholic, he's getting better now but it got to the point where I left and stayed with my mom. He can be a total and completely cocky asshole too. When I met back up with him in D.C. I wanted to strangle him, he was just..harsh. Hit where it hurt, you know?" She paused a moment, thinking. "No man, no woman and no relationship is ever perfect and if anyone says their's is, they are lying. I think most of the time, the strongest relationship is the one that takes the most work."
