Fillipponi is the station's star. He's already doing a network show, and he's had multiple offers from other markets. This was done to get him in a more prominent time slot and give The Fan a stronger afternoon show to go against Madden.

By the way, that overused "drop" with the Buffalo jingle is being retired with Starkey's new assignment.
