The Fan is a terrible station. Poor excuse for sports talk. They are an infomercial station that occasionally has some sports sprinkled in. I wish the Pittsburgh market was large enough to support another sports talk station.

Listened from 12PM-12:30 while in the car. Show returns from break around 12:07. Goes to commercials/sports update (this can be two times an hour really) at 12:13. Show returns at 12:26. Probably went to break at 12:33.

Listened from 7:55AM - 8:40AM day after Super Bowl. Seems like more commercials this hour? Dunlap and Colony talked for maybe six minutes total and it was about Buffalo Chicken Dip and golf. Awful.

Seven minute long segments. Hard to get any flow going and when they do, gotta take a break. One day the PM Team took one caller in two hours. I can’t imagine someone staying on hold for two hours waiting to talk.

People only put up with the Fan because it’s the only choice.
