Subject: Rick Sebak--Pitchman?

Rick has become an institution around here and given the great work he did 15-25 years ago, it's understandable. The fact his presentations are running out of gas compared to his earlier work doesn't seem to matter. QED is desperate to regain momentum and will rely on old, tired luminaries and their Fred Rogers connection to do so.

And now, Sebak, who was never a newsman, seems to be veering into pitchman territory.

Wholey's is another great local institution, but the idea of Rick collaborating with any local business on hyping a product that will surely taste good but also plays to Rick's huge ego (a sandwich named "Sea-Bak") seems odd, except if seen as a self-promotion move.
