Subject: Trisha Pittman

I remember when Trisha Pittman first began on KDKA Radio. Did she not start with a news reporter or anchor that was also on KDKA Radio? I thought one of them or both were from Minnesota.

Trisha then moved to television news and stuck with the traffic reports. I thought Trisha had the skills to become news reporter or even eventually an anchor. That never happened as she maintained her position as a traffic reporter. I remember her doing some free-lance, non-traffic pieces but that seemed to have stopped a few years ago.

Lately, or maybe over the last year or so, it seems Trisha has been experimenting with new styles and fashions. She recently became a blonde. Not sure of all the changes. I guess she is trying to keep her image new.

Anybody know if she has aspirations to become a news reporter or news anchor? How does the business work with somebody who has years of experience on-air as in this case a traffic reporter who may want to land a news job? What is the difference in salary for a TV news traffic reporter and a TV news reporter? Is there that much of a difference?
