• She patted Aislinn on the head as she zoomed by, going as fast as her little bowed toddlers legs could carry her, and looked up from the leaves of Romaine lettuce that she was rinsing off. • Maybe it was a mother's instinct - not that she was this child's mother, but the instinct of a woman who has been a mother, but she was awake.. she had woken up the last couple of months whenever the baby did, but had usually been able to drift back off because Gabe managed things. Tonight, however, she'd been laying awake for a while now, and finally, she crawled out of bed, her blonde hair mussed and hung loose down around her shoulders, a pair of boy cut shorts and a baggy tshirt covering her wiry frame, she crept to the door, listening, and then down the hallway to his room, pausing for a moment at the closed door and finally knocking softly, hesitantly, before cracking it a bit. • She wasn't nearly done the loading up that she intended to do, but decided to humor him, taking a large spoonfull out of one of the bowls and leaning ahead to slide the chiled spoon over his lips. She watched him for a moment, her cobalts focused on his, and reached into the bowl to scoop a bit of ice cream out on her finger and dabbed it on his nose with a mischevious grin. • She buffed the end of his nose with the sleeve of her hoodie, cupping his cheek in the palm of her warm hand lightly as she looked at him, her own puppy eyes turning on him as she teased him. "Oh poor Gabey baby.. can't even handle being teased by a girl.." She grinned a little bit, patting his cheek once more before relinquishing any more physical contact, except to dig into the ice cream and leave another glop of it on his nose. • He couldn't help it, his legs hooked around hers so that he could draw her close to him, pressing a warm kiss to her forehead, his words a murmur against her ear. "Your in denial." He stated, winking gently before he let her go. "Make sure you put the peanut butter chips on it, and hey, there's oreo's." • She slid off of the counter as he prompted, the bowl of ice cream cupped in both hands like it was some sort of sacred object. Making her way toward the living room, she stole looks up at him, her lips pursed a little, but continued to walk. There was no telling where this was going and that was what bothered her the most - that she didn't seem to have any control over her feelings in this matter.
