till the dirt seeps
into my pores
and 'til the sweat
on my forehead
reaches my elbow
as you leave me
and I watch you
your smile fades out
to uncertainty
when you notice
that all that's left
is the vapor
from my last breath.
and you'll stumble
and fall right on
your sunburnt back
and wonder why
noones there now.
ignorance shadowed you.
