Since when was second best worth dying for
Worth crying for
Worth losing a best friend for

I guess you draw the line between losing and pushing away.

Stupid me. I should have known.

You coward.
You only see yourself thru everyone else’s eyes
And put words in our mouths
And thoughts in our heads

Since when did being a best friend include ripping trust apart

You’ll never really know the pain you caused
The friends who’ve tried
So hard
To stick by you

You spit in our faces
And blame it on your bad day
But you leave the hurt there
Dripping down our faces.

And we stood there.
Silently.

And what would you say?
“So fucking what.”

You coward.

Even the best have bad days.
