I clipped a vein on my wrist
pulled it from my forearm
until it dangled from my body...
like a radio wire
I waited
for the pain and blood to fill my eyes,
but i didn't bleed.
The confusion set in
just as the music began to play...


Broken picks stood on shattered teeth
to hear the sound
coming from vertical mouths
on a fretting hand

My ear began to drink harmonics
theroies turned to improvisasions
power chords,
muted hesitations
a shattered silience
filling an empty room
was all too much
to understand

Radio wires wrapped around my legs
and drug me deep within
just as i was closing my eyes
plugging myself in
and doing my best...

to deafen the day
