but hey, don’t digress

we both know you
wouldn’t even be around

for her to have laid eyes on you,
the goddess that she is.
and let us all thank God
that she graces us with her presence.

isn’t it funny, though,
how this all started
when you started it,
and yet i can’t seem to end it?
wouldn’t even do any good
to staple your mouth shut, though,
‘cuz you’re too scared to
say anything to my face, anyway.

frustrating, you’ve become.
it’s hard not to sink to your level.
so tempting it seems,
way down there.
… WAY down there.

but don’t get so annoyed with yourself.
you’ll just be adding yourself to the list
if you do.
