Subject: eBooks - my opinion is now changing
In reply to: kathleen 's message, "hello is anyone out there????????????" on Thursday, December 01, 02:59:41pm

I have posted in the past that I would not buy an eBook.
I am definatly changing my mind on that.

I have tried eBooks both through Ellora's Cave and New Concepts Publishing.

I still stand by the fact that having a 'real' book is way better than being stuck to the computer (I wouldn't want to print out the book on A4 paper).

However I have had enough of this disasterous self-publishing and having to wait 10 months for a book by Dara Joy with next to no information being given!!!

I would not buy any more books that Dara produces this way!

However much as I am not as keen on eBooks I would now definatly buy any that were produced this way. I still want to read Daras books but the past 10 months have just been a disaster.

The other advantage of publishing an eBook through either Ellora's Cave or New Concepts Publishing is that they both later produce paperback versions.
This would then eliminate the need for relying on printers who never seem to print the books. Both publishing companies already have reliable systems set up for bringing the books out in p/b.

So in my opinion it is definatly time for a change!!!!

But in the meantime Dara and Cory please give us some information on what is happening with Wildcat Arrows!!!

And I quote:
"They are thinking Wednesday(11/16) but it will depend on when they finish the run before
ours so I will keep you in close contact as we move swiftly to launch."

So lets see the 'close contact' and information about the swift movement as we now have heard nothing at all since 9th November!
