Subject: Christine Feehan's Dark series

I've read all of Christine Feehan's Dark series. However, I don't think I'll continue reading the last 2 or 3 that are to complete them series. Why? Well... Quite honestly, I think Christine has fallen into a rut. While the premise of the storyline is a good one and one I did enjoy getting into, I noticed something disturbing within the last few books -- There's nothing new. Just change the names of the main characters and that's it. Certainly, I can understand it's not always easy to keep things fresh, but...oh well... ::shrug:: Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the series and I do think she is a very good author. ::smile::

As for the new Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon... When I read my first book I thought it was going to be a take-off on Christine's ideas. It wasn't. What I like about this new series is the friendly(?) banter between the characters. (Several times, I've nearly spewed my drink all over the book! I like the humor.) Also, each main character has a completely different history. (She's using all of history to pull her characters from.)
