Try reading Dark Secret, her latest in the series, it's Darker and I think the best so far.

But in reality, there is no hero like a Dara hero!

But for spew your drink humour, try Mary Janice Davidson's "Undead" series, the first being 'Undead and Unwed'. There's nothing like a Vampire Queen with a shoe fetish!
