Subject: LIFE

The circle of life goes on
Our legacy, our children saddened
But there to carry on what we no longer can
Left to tell the stories of those who have passed.

Life is meant for the living
But too many times we are adrift
Not really living life to it’s fullest
Just drifting along, not paying attention.

We are shocked and saddened
The death of a loved one brings us back
Why should it take something like this
To make us remember what it is we have missed?

Is it meant as a reminder from God above
To live every moment to it’s fullest
For we too shall one day leave this world
Leave the people who love us behind.

We should rejoice for those who have lived a long life
Too often we lose the very young
Too often the ones who have more living to do
Who are we to know what God has planned?

So this I say to you
Don’t let life go by without remembering
That we should laugh, love and cry
For without sadness we would not know joy.

And let us take comfort in knowing
That when our life here is done
We shall once again find those we have lost
And so the circle of life goes on.........
