In reply to: 's message, "Cotten Pageant- F. Carden is one of Suk's Cherokee Rose directors. If that ain't COI, I don't know what it. What's so bad about this is MM is a very beautiful little girl and probably won on her own accord BUT why give people a reason to think it's rigged!!!! We do no pageants if there is any conflict at all. I want everyone to know my child won on her own." on 14:50:12 01/29/06 Sun

I hope this will explain why Mark Harper was a jugde this past weekend. I had 3 judges from Alabama scheduled to judge. At 6:30 PM on Friday night, January 27th I received a call that due to an emergency one judge could not come. After trying for 3 hours unsuccessfully to find an out of state judge, I then tried to find one outside of a 100 mile radius, that wasn't successfull either. Then I looked for a good and honest judge and that's when I asked Mark Harper. I have reviewed his scores from the score sheets and this have been proven that I made the right decision. Each queen won on her own ability and was not given the crown by any one judge. I ask that you please call me if you have any questions and not hurt anyone's feelings especially the girls that did their best and won. I feel like all of the girls that competited are winners. Let's not be bad sports. Mary Walker
