Subject: This is about ATBC and it was signed with an email for questions. I believe it when people can stand behind what they post. Please beware of this system

Beware, my friend and I are from SC and we took our daughters all the way to KY last weekend for the state. We got there and other than our kids there was one contestant. She certainly could have let us know that prior to us driving all that way. She was still willing to have the pageant, however, we weren't willing to put our kids in it. There were 3 contestants all in different supreme groups, so what was the point in getting them up, HM, the whole nine yards when the outcome would be the same if they rolled out of bed and went to the ballroom. There was no stage in the ballroom and there were no awards anywhere to be seen, although she said she had tons. Just to get there between gas and hotel, fast food, etc, between the 2 of us we had spent well over $600. That's not including the $100 deposit each of us had given her, which she did refund by the way, after a long time of discussion that was not so pleasant. She said we ganged up on her, which is a lie, she said we cursed her, which is a lie, and she said she had 10 deposits, which I truly believe is a lie, I can see 1, 2, maybe 3 with deposits cancelling, but all of them, let's get real. I believe that she already had awards from prior pageants, although I don't know where they were, and instead of cancelling and having no choice but to refund money, she figured she'd have the pageant, and we'd just go along with it. Something was extremely fishy about the whole thing as she gave several different explanations for things on her paperwork. Anyway, we asked to transfer our deposits to another pageant at first and she wasn't willing to do that. Then as she saw that we weren't pleased and we weren't just going to settle for a 3 kid pageant, she reluctantly agreed to transfer and supposedly meet us halfway on the expenses we had incurred which wouldn't even have taken care of the total fees at the pageant it would be transferred to. We didn't send her half a deposit, we didn't drive half way to KY, we didn't pay half a hotel bill, we didn't do half of anything, so why should we except half from her when we didn't trust her after her letting us drive that far for such a fiasco, it was awful, an experience I'll never forget, not to mention the disappointment of the kids, that goes on forever and a day, Sorry so long and drawn out, but oh OMG, it was absolutely awful...... I had never met this lady in my life and had no reason not to trust her, we went on good faith and got burned, if you have anymore questions, feel free to email, res8ez3b@verizon.net

You must be really bored to bring this up on here from June. I remember this whole situation. Everyone had commented that the director did all she could to please you and even the 3rd contestant's mother came on here and said that what you are claiming wasn't true. This happened back in June! I remember this whole scenario and all the pms were coming on here and saying that the director did everything she could to please you and your friend and you would not be satisfied. Also, the other pm mom who was there to compete her daughter came on here and said that all you have claimed was not true. She said that the director did try very hard to please you and you got mean.
