 這次的事令我想起james baldwin 的"the fire next time"（背景大概是六十年代的美國）。他看到白人待奉白色皮?的上帝，黑人待奉黑色皮?的上帝（black muslim），互不相容，彼此仇視，提出為甚麼大家不能和平共處，要是大家繼續互相仇視，要將對方置諸死地的話，到the fire next time發生的時候，便更加不堪設想了……

前些時間，明珠台在深夜播出一部關於北愛爾蘭的電影（忘了片名）。片裡的人都是「瘋子」，部份愛爾蘭（共和軍）的人要以最血腥殘暴的方法唬走英國人，使他們不敢再踏足北愛「領土」；樣子不過十?左右的少年立志要為死去的朋友報仇……

還有電影「山雨欲來」（before the rain takes side）裡的馬其頓，不同宗教之間的腥風血雨……

這個時候再來翻查誰是誰非又有甚麼意義呢？為了增加談判的籌碼？大家都滿手鮮血，死的又多數是無辜的人﹗怎麼總不肯想一想如何好好地（一起）過活？這是太過天真？這個世界難道便一定是你死我亡，沒有和平共處這回事？是甚麼「神」?使大家互相殺戮？還是野蠻的人性還未洗脫原始的排他性，而美其名為「安全感」？

在仇恨中成長的人是受害者，而他們又繼續製造更多的受害者。
