Subject: Florida sure was blessed to have Ernesto fizzle out. Watching the news I didn't hear anything about severe damage. Lynn, hope your and Dax's home made it through the wet weather okay. Nothing but lots of rain in my area. The local colleges and schools remained opened.

[> Thanks Robyne. We didn't even have much rain. A few small squalls, but the worst one was the day before Ernesto limped through here, from a very far reaching outer band. I think it was much worse for the folks north of us along the eastern seaboard. If this is the worst one of the season, we'll be blessed indeeed. I have a feeling there's a few more coming though! Hey, Labor Day weekend is almost here--anyone have plans? We have a big Pictionary Chllenge tournament on Saturday night to redeem ourselves--"the Kids" have kicked our butts too many time lately. [> I was relieved to hear Ernesto fizzled. I kept thinking, not again! You poor Floridians went through enough last year. My plans for this weekend include homework, writing and more homework and writing. I'm leaving on a trip to Dallas in a few weeks for a writers conference and will miss a week of school. That means everything needs to be done ahead of time and I want the rough draft of my manuscript done so I can pitch it to editors and agents. We'll see what happens. I can't wait!! It's FOOTBALL season! yay! I moved last weekend into a duplex - so I'm out on my own! yay! I've been unpacking (and my poor boyfriend has been building things left and right for me).
