Subject: New music?

I've been so busy this summer, and now this fall too (although it still doesn't feel like fall here in FL), but I wondered if anyone has any new music to recommend--or just share what you've been listening to. I feel like I haven't had a chance to listen to anything for months. What's cool these days? How many of you have iPods, by the way?

[> Hi Lynn! I haven't really heard a lot of new music, either. It's been a crazy summer/fall for me, also. My sister just had a baby on Friday (yay)!! He's adorable (of course)! But, I do have an iPod. I don't really use it much...really, my boyfriend uses it more than I do to be honest. I mainly use it when I travel. I have over 800 songs on there right now and pretty much all of those are straight from CDs that I have. I don't really "download" that much music from iTunes. But I need to start, really. I'm tired of having CDs all over the place! haha -- Brooke, 13:24:48 09/25/06 Mon [1]

No, I don't have an ipod/mp3 player. I think I really need one though! My new computer arrives sometime this week, and I told myself that once I upgrade to a computer where I can actually download iTunes, I'd buy myself one.

Here are some songs. Variety of genres!....

JC Chasez - Until Yesterday (came out last night!)
Justin Timberlake - LoveStoned/I Think She Knows interlude
Justin Timberlake - Losing My Way
Justin Timberlake(feat. TI) - My Love
Justin Timberlake - What Goes Around...Comes Around (live version)
Stone Sour - Through Glass
Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
The Fray - How to Save a Life
Nickelback - Far Away
Nickelback - Rockstar(still in love with every song on their latest album)
Chris Brown - Say Goodbye (sounds like an Usher song)
Blue October - Hate Me
Augustana - Boston
Kyle Riabko - Miss Behavin'
Family Force 5 - Luv Addict
Tom Sartori - One More Whiskey
Josh Kelley - Just Say the Word (I recently recorded some nice acoustic concert video)
Josh Kelley - Talking In Circles
Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers - Start the Day Early
Teddy Geiger - Air Dry
Black Lab - Lonely Boy
Josh Hoge - 360
Mitch Allan - Superman (probably won't be able to find this one anywhere)
Tony Lucca - Feels Like Love (he has a new CD out)
All-American Rejects - Straightjacket Feeling
Stone Parade - In a Daze(acoustic)
Gnarles Barkley - Crazy
Lovehammers - Rain on The Brain
Lovehammers - Clouds
Butch Walker -
The Crash Moderns - This Time
Corinne Bailey Rae - Put Your Records On
Barenaked Ladies - Easy
October Fall - Hey Hey
Aslyn - 493-1023

Well, that should keep you busy! You can do some one stop listening to a bunch of those on my myspace player.

[> I haven't had a chance to listen various new songs so I'm running so behind on it... couple weeks ago I listened and liked Jason Eustice. He's a country artist. Yeah, that's Chris' uncle. :) Meanwhile, I've heard two songs from Justin Timberlake which are cool. Can't wait for JC new album. Hopefully I will have time to sit down and listen more new stuff. -- Busta, 00:40:12 09/26/06 Tue [1]

[> I wish I had an ipod but that'll have to be in the future. To be honest I've been listening to a lot of old favorites, mostly jazz. I've also discovered public radio and they play a lot of opera and classical. NPR and the Christian station are what I listen to a lot along with some Hawaiian stuff. I also just listened to JC's first single on AOL music called "Until Yesterday." Musically it reminds me of early No Doubt and two ska groups I used to love in the early 90's, Dance Hall Crashers and Dakoda Motor Company. Anyone remember Peter King, pro surfer and host of MTV's Sandblast? He was the guitarist for Dakoda Motor Company. Anyway it had that old school funk beat that made me want to get up and skank. -- Malia, 01:59:38 09/26/06 Tue [1]

[> Hello, friends! Miss you. In answer to your question, all I listen to on my Ipod is dance/trance music to work out to like Paul Oakenfold. One of his best ones right now is "Faster Kill Pussycat". Anyone else like the dance/trance music to work out to?? Or am I alone here? -- Lynda, 10:23:42 09/26/06 Tue [1]

[> Good Question Lynn..I'm happy to see some of the suggestions made. As we speak since I spend so much time inside with grandpa I'm importing a bunch of my cd's to Itunes.I bought a new laptop just for my business venture. I'm a mobile dj and so I've now imported in the last week about 4000 songs...Yes I have an Ipod that I'm going to put those into.. -- Colleen, 14:48:00 09/26/06 Tue [1]
