Subject: Question About Universal City Walk

I am on vacation this week and my mom and I might come down to orlando, and I was wondering if they still had that mini recording studio at universal city walk I think it was at the hard rock cafe I remember it was by a reasturant and the studio didn't open till like 6:00p.m. that afternoon. I really need to do another demo cd of cover songs, like 2 or 3. I know they gave you a choice of doing a tape demo or a cd demo and I know the cd demo was more expensive like 20 something I think. Can anybody help me out or know what I am talking about?

[> http://www.wdwinfo.com/downtown/pi/ Trey, check this link out and scroll down the page a bit. It's called Superstar Recording, and it used to be at Universal, but looks like it's at Disney now--if it's the same thing. I think it is. I have not heard anyone mention it lately, so I just did a Google search. Good luck! Be prepared for hot and very humid weather. We sure don't have fall yet! -- Lynn, 20:29:13 09/25/06 Mon [1]

[> Another random Orlando question that I'm sure I can easily find an answer to online, but thought this would be fast. What's the weather typically like down there around Martin Luther King Day (early/mid January)? My best friend's sister is getting married at Disney, so I'm contemplating going and making it a 4-day weekend. I've always wanted to go to Orlando, but taking even one day off work is so hard. Not sure how much sightseeing I can squeeze in that time. -- Janelle, 21:47:12 09/25/06 Mon [1]

[> [> Janelle, January is usually very nice. Mostly it's sunny, high in the 60s and low's in the 40s. It will get pretty chilly at night, but most of our really cold weather (freezing or below) always seems to happen around Christmas. There will some occasional cold spells in January, so you should be prepared for that, but the average Jan-Feb are really nice here (Nov too). Hope you get a chance to go to the wedding--a wedding at Disney sounds really fun! -- Lynn, 06:28:03 09/26/06 Tue [1]

[> Thanks Lynn, Yes That Is The Place I Was Talking About They Must Have Moved It. But I Talked To My Mom About It, She Rather Go To St. Augustine Which Bummed Me Out, Cuz I Rather Work On My Craft Than Go To A Beach *sigh* Oh Well. -- Trey, 06:21:01 09/26/06 Tue [1]
