• She was up with a bit of a headache, too restless to sleep without the steady breath of someone in the next bed over, no matter who it was - when you spent a lot of time in a home, you got used to having someone around all the time, and while she was a solitary creature by nature, habits were hard to get out of the rut of. • She nodded a little, setting aside her glass and going to the fridge for his bottle, leaning across the island to slide it to him, leaving a trace of condensation across the tiled tabletop, and resting on her elbows, raising a brow at him. • She had been on again off again ill in the mornings for the last week or so -- she was just figuring that it was a flu, not uncommon for her, she'd always had a bit of a weak immune system based on the foolishness her mother had partaken in when she was pregnant. • It was still nearly dark, and she was so involved in her vomiting that she hadn't heard him get up, tears streaming down her cheeks as she deposited the contents of her stomach into the toilet - it was almost automatic that she cried when she threw up and she was crying now because she was worried on top of things. • She felt horrible - it was not something she'd done on purpose, she had never intended to go to bed with him more than once, and then she just figured things would work out okay - lots of people did it, and never had to deal with a pregnancy. • She could understand him being irritated, no.. pissed would be a better word, about the entire thing. She wanted to get angry, she wanted to get upset and start throwing a fit, but she couldn't do that - she didn't need to be angry at him, it wasn't his fault, she could only be angry at herself and if she started screaming at herself, she would look as nutso as her mother, she'd get locked up for sure. She sat up, dark eyes following his shilouette against the window, and dropped her legs over the side of the bed, grasping the mattress tightly with her small hands. She wouldn't argue the money thing any further, when the time was right, if she was right about this whole thing, she would slip off quietly and do it, and that would be the end of things.
