  • She wasn't sure that was what she wanted, either, as she would her arms across her stomach, as though to hold herself. Comforting was not what she wanted, she wasn't even very upset - this was just another speedbump. "No, I'll go to my mother. She'll help me out." She didn't feel like he had to take any responsability for it - in fact, the thought had not even crossed her mind - she probably would not have told him in the first place if he didn't live in the same room with her - she wasn't the type of girl to announce things and try and garner sympathy.
