Subject: He had just started on his third cigarette when he heard the door open. He didn't look back though, just absently ashed the cigarette into the can next to him and waited for her to speak. Since she didn't immediatly, he already assumed that the test had come back positive. His stomach tightened at the thought, his head tipping as he tried to just calm himself enough to think rationally.

  • She wasn't sure why she'd brought the test in, maybe just to prove that she wasn't crazy and staging this whole thing.. that still didn't take the blame away from her. She sighed a little, looking down at the stick in her fingers, the corners of her lips turned down a little bit, scalding tears pushing at the backs of her corneas, but she held them back -- this wasn't supposed to happen, no crying, never let them see you're weak or they'll come in for the kill, and she'd already exhibited more than enough weakness in front of Armani. She took a deep, shuddering breath, saying the already obvious. "It's positive." She had to bite her lower lip to keep from going on.
