Subject: As the kiss broke, her breath caught sharply before she could regain a smoother breathing pattern, and her eyes lingered shut at his continuing kisses, brow gently furrowed in a soft expression of appreciation. At his words, her fingers twisted tightly into his shirt and she nodded a fraction, clearly her throat softly before she responded. "I know we are..." Though she didn't really know, she had never felt as certain as she felt then after he said it so confidently. Her fingers absently tugged the hem of his shirt from his waistband so that a hand could slip beneath just to rest with the back of her fingers against his abdomen.

  • He pressed a soft kiss to her lips before he squeezed her tight and shifted a little. "It's late, love, if we have things to do in the morning we should be getting to bed..." He ran his hands down her arms, warming her up a touch. It was only a little over sixty-degrees which wasn't all that warm considering they had been having eighty to ninety degree days. It was getting later into the season though which meant that they definately needed to get some repairs on this house done and get it ready for winter. He would have to talk to Joey about that...
