Subject: He'd been pretty much left in the dark concerning her entire situation - and he hadn't wanted to know, because it hadn't effected their relationship thus far, but now he wanted to know exactly what it is. "I don't hate you, Lacey - you just can't leave me out in the dark here.. I need a reason." He felt like he deserved it maybe, after the time and effort and emotion that he'd poured into her.
