Moms-to-be can keep their Starbucks card handy, a new study concludes. According to research published in the British Medical Journal, consuming a moderate amount of caffeine does not appear to negatively affect pregnancy. The study was based on data from more than 1,200 pregnant women. Researchers found that those who consumed up to three cups of caffeinated coffee a day experienced no more complications than women who opted for decaf instead. In fact, decaf drinkers were found to suffer from a slightly higher rate of premature birth: 5.2% compared to 4.2% for caffeine drinkers.

What This Means for You
Just don’t overdo it. A past study by the same research team warned that drinking more than eight cups of coffee a day may increase stillbirth risk.

Now, let the woman rest..please. And let's talk about some positive pregnancy stories? Please? Anyone have one? Some funny little quirks? Did your child kick a lot? Was your baby really laid back? What kind of cravings did you have? Share! :)
