Hey Nicole. Just wanted you to know what I was told by my pharmacist about Hoodia. I, too, was interested in losing some weight before my wedding, but I noticed a warning on my birth control pills that stated "some herbal diet supplements can reduce the effectiveness" of my b/c. So I called my pharmacist, told him I wanted to try Hoodia, and he told me that because the FDA has not approved Hoodia, they cannot guarantee that Hoodia will not interact with b/c. That was all I needed to hear to avoid it until after the wedding. I was not interested in wearing a maternity wedding gown. Kinda defeats the purpose of taking Hoodia in the first place, huh? :-) But I'm a married woman now, and will happily accept pregnancy, so I'm a Hoodia-addict. It works!
