Subject Author Date I'm going to have to disagree with this. I think sometimes, directors advertise on Voy because they know that's where all of the potential contestants are. Just because a director advertises here, doesn't mean that she's not recruiting in person as well. A true business woman uses ALL of her resources. That includes offline AND online resources. You're on Voy right now, so according to your logic, that would mean that you love to gossip just because you're here. Making blanket statements like that isn't fair, in my opinion. I actually haven't competed in almost 8 years. But if I see a pageant advertised on Voy, I'm not going to think anything of it or the director. Once upon a time, Voy was the only place you could go to find out about pageants...before Facebook, Twitter, etc. I actually think Facebook is a lot worse! But that's just my opinion.
