Subject: I have to agree. Even though the smaller ones don't seem as important, it WILL help you learn, grown, advance, and eventually win. Don't jump in to a major until you know all about it. Sure, some win the first try, but that is rare. Learn everything you can, practice, prepare, invest, play whatever game is needed, but smaller pageants will teach you everything you need to know.

In reply to: TF 's message, "I wish I had done smaller Mrs/Ms pageants before jumping into the International system. State level advertising 'No pageant experience needed', but to do well in the system, you must have experience or connections. As it is, I have spent tons of time and money which makes not making the top 15 a bigger disappointment than not placing in a smaller pageant that I was not heavily invested. I think my entire pageant experience would have been better and more fun had I started small." on 10/29/13 Tue
