Subject Author Date I was going to help, but as I reviewed them in my head, I came to realize that most of the cheap ones have a ton of divisions. When I thought about the ones that have 2 or 3, they started getting expensive. 2 or 3 winners - Nat'l Mrs, Continental, Galaxy, UA, Petite, BoA, MWI, Achievement, Universal, AOM, many more. Cheap but lots of crowns, All Am, US United, World Elite, Dream, Elegance, Essence, and so on. You have to decide which way to go. The pageant was unique and really stood for outstanding Moms. Now the pageant will be won on stage and not in interview. (NT) -- used to love AOM, now I don't, 12/28/13 Sat totally agree. I dont' think a MOM title warrants a swimsuit. Not even in this day and age, maybe even less. It kind of wrecks the whole wholesome notion of best mom. Maybe best mom in a swimsuit pageant? But I doubt you will find many without a swimsuit competition. AOM is just trying to become more competitive in the pageant world. And by saying that statement, are you also saying that swimsuit competition "wrecks the sanctity of marriage" in the Mrs. Pageants? Same thing... And many married women ARE moms. Always thought it was a great pageant to celebrate Moms and admired that aspect. Now to add swimwear in a two piece and say it reprsents Moms is no longer a unique pageant to celebrate them. A 40 year old shouldn't compete against a 22 year old.Multiple divisions is awesome! I think this post is a Director trying to bash the systems that are getting better numbers because they have more fair divisions. A multiple division pageant may be good for you since you're 40+, but I have no problem competing against a 22 year old. Your post sounds more like YOU are a director of a multiple pageant and are trying to bash ME for not liking them. Someone can dislike a multiple division pageant without bashing.
