"Shannon lets go!!!" Keith screamed up the stairs. He was answered with a a duffle bag thrown down the steps, that hit him in the head. "Ow! dam* girl if you wanna play rough all you gotta do is say so!" he smile at her coming down the stairs and she just laughed at him. "We about ready kiddos?" Kenny asked. "Yuppers" Shannon replied. The three of them, Deirks and his wife, and Deana Carter and her husband were all taking a little vacation on Kenny's yact, through the Caymen Islands.
Shannon wasn't a huge fan of flying, although she could sit in an airport and people watch all day long. Keith calmed her nerves the only way he could think of, by renewing their membership in the mile high club. Soon enough they reached the island and boarded Kenny's boat.
"Ahh this is paradise...." Shannon sighed. Once they got underway, Shannon, Deana, and Deirks wife,Meg, decided it was time to catch some rays. They all got in their suits and spread out on the deck. After a couple of hours Shannon must have fallen asleep becuase she was awoken by two strong arms lifting her up. She thought Keith was taking her to bed, shame on her. Still half asleep, she was jolted awake by intense cold she felt when Keith had thrown her overboard. He jumped in after her and she dunked him. "One of these days your gonna get it blondie!!" she threatened him. Everyone else had joined them in the water for a nice cooling swim. 7 hungry stomachs decided it was time for some food. Getting her revenge as Keith climbed the ladder back ontho the boat, she pantsed him, bringing his swim suit down to his ankels. Some creative words left his mouth and he quickly pulled his suit back up as he turned 10 shades of red while everyone was dying laughing. "This is war sweetcheeks!" he declared. Still laughing Shannon couldnt help what she said, "Ummm babe I'm pretty sure we're all aware that you are indeed the one with the sweetcheeks...." she winked at him and he turned even redder sending everyone into a new fit of laughter.
They all sat out on the deck, drying in the sun, eating hogies. After they were done eating Keith had managed to unite the top to Shannon's bikini without her noticing and when she stood it fell, Keith grabbed it, and Shannon's arms shot up to cover herself. She tried to reach for it while still covering herself but Keith held it above her tiny frame. Everyone was laughin at their antics and Shannon finally gave up. "Fine, I need to tan my back anyway..." with that she layed down on the deck on her stomach.
Shannon and Keith made a truce, for the time being, and after eating dinner, playing some music and dancing, they all headed to bed. Before they went below deck Kenny made and announcement, "Ok if any of yall are plannin on rockin the boat, do me at least a favor and keep with the motion of the ocean..." They all laughed at him, "We need to get you a woman Kendoll!" Shannon stated. "Yea yea yea...." he relied before goin into his room.
Shannon was getting something to wear to bed out of her bag when she felt two hands softly caressing her neck and back. She sighed and closed her eyes. She felt her bikini top being untied and let it fall to the floor. Keith turned her in his arms and pulled her in for a kiss. Without breaking their kiss Keith pushed her back and onto the bed. She ran her hands down his back, feeling his muscles clench and tighten, as their kiss intensified. He ground his hips into hers and she felt his hand dissapear into her bikini bottoms. "Oh god..." she moaned out. "Shhh..." Keith pressed a finger to her lips, "we dont want to wake anyone..." He continued his minstrations and swallowed her screams and moans with his open kisses. Keith untied her bottoms and they joined her top on the floor. She reached for the tie on his suit and that too was added to the floor. His hips met hers in a slow steady pace. They were both breathing heavy and a layer of sweat had formed on them. Shannon couldnt stop the screams and moans that came from her mouth, their pace was almost painfully slow and she was so turned on. Keith covered her mouth with his hand to muffle the noise, which only proved to turn her on more. Hitting the spot, Keith buried his head in her shoulder and bit down on her neck, and she arched her back to him, throwing her head back. They both lay there, breathing hard and sweating. Keith pushed the hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. "I love you" his whispered in her ear. She replied with a kiss and said "I love you too." She rested her head on his chest as he wrapped his arms around her and she was lulled asleep by the rising and falling of his chest.
The next morning Shannon got up early and headed out to get some more sun. On her way to the deck she bumped into Kenny, who shook his head. "What'd I tell ya ShanBan?" She just laughed and pushed him towards the deck.

Ok heres the last one......for now I think.....
Theres a line I used in this chapter from Brian McKnight's song my kind of Girl. It was so cute I just had to steal it lol!

*1 Month Later*

Shannon pulled into the driveway and dragged herself out of the car. She was wiped, it had been such a long day and she had to work late into the evening. Kenny had left for the rest of his tour and Keith would be leaving in a couple of weeks, then she would be headed on a southwest rodeo tour. She walked up the steps and noticed there were no lights on in the house. She turned to look for Keith's car and there it was in the driveway. "Good god whats he up to now..." she said outloud.

Then she unlocked the door and pushed it open. When she walked in she gasped. There was a walkway of rose petals illuminate by candles on each side. She dropped her bag with her mouth hangin open to bend down and pick up the note infront of her. It read "-to the tune of Yellow brink road- Follow the red rose trail....follow the red rose trail..." she chuckled he could be so corney, but she loved it. She kept walking very slowly and stoped at the bottom of the steps. Everyother step had a note on it and she bent down to pick up the first one. This one read "For every kiss we've ever had, for all the times I've made you mad..." she smiled and went on to the next one, "In my darkness you're light shown through, and I would do anything for you..." She kept moving on to the next step, "When you talk, I hang on every word you say..." To the next one "When you move, your like the breeze on a summers day..." And another "When you smile, the sky turns from grey to blue, thats what you do..." By now her eyes were starting to well up. She picked up the note at the top of the stairs, it read "The feeling in my heart and tears I could not hide, if you would do me the honor and be my bride..." Tears were streaming down her face as she picked up the last note on the bedroom door. "We'll be together always, come what may, and I'll love you untill my dying day..."

She opened the door, the bedroom was filled with candles and the floor was covered in white rose petals, a line of red ones leading from the door to the bed, then scattered on the bed. Keith was standing in the middle of the room, his eyes glistening in the candlelight, he walked towards her and got down on one knee. Shannon couldnt stop the tears now as she gazed at him. "Shannon, your everything to me, your my world, my heart, my soul, I'm lost without you. You've made me a better man and keep me striving to better meself in any way I can. You saved my life and I will be eternally greatfull for that, becuase if you hadnt I wouldnt be here today, infront of you. I've never loved anyone more in my entire life and it is a deep love that I have never known. I'm asking you now, if you would make me the happiest man alive, and dead for that matter, and be my wife?" Tears were streaming down his cheeks. He slipped a gorgeous pink diamond ring on her finger and looked up at her for the answer. She was beside herself all she could do was nod her head. "Yes???!!!" He asked her eagerly. "Yes!!!!!" She jumped in his arms and he spun her around, kissing her with more passion than ever before. He walked her over and layed her down on the bed of roses and they made love until the sun came up.

This was great Shan! Shame it has to end. I love to think of Keith as a real romantic guy too. He seems so warm and caring I think he would be really in touch with his romantic side. I'm sure he'd know how to make a girl fall head over heels for him.
