Chesneygirl, I'm glad I got to read your replies before they got deleted. To bad the censors at CMT can't stand for you to have gay friends. I kept my hands to myself because I have several gay family members that I would walk through fire for and I knew I would get to upset at the narrow minded responses. I really didn't appreciate the other posters calling the movie trash since they hadn't even seen it. Last time I checked they didn't hand out Golden Globes to trash.

I was out enjoying my Saturday and I didn't even get to read most of them. Were most of them that were deleted defending the movie's topic or opposing the movie's topic or just general comments like mine. My post that got deleted was "Trashy, you say? I know that I've got to see it now...LOL!" Maybe CMT doesn't like my attempt at humor!

actually most were defending the movie and pointing out that the theme was two lovers who cannot be together due to circumstances (sounds familiar). Only two or three were saying they would not see it because it was about gay cowboys. Those that did actually see it were saying how great it was. The posts that were deleted were those who pointed out how narrow minded it was to dismiss a movie totally as trash.

Yep I got a message in my e-mail, I called someone a homophobe! But I retyped a little message on there, and let them have it, if Iget deleted I don't care, I told them it was so sad to see some people on there are so narrow minded etc. It's a crock, that someone can call it trash and talke smack about it and stay on there!

While I understand how rotten it feels to be deleted, I would prefer that you all not use this board as a place to voice off-topic opinions, especially ones so highly-charged. This board is for having fun with Keith, and while a few detours are understandable, I'd like to make it known at the outset that I'd rather you try to keep on topic as much as possible.

If anyone would like to discuss this issue in depth, please feel free to use the "contact forum admin" link at the top and I'd be happy to have a dialog with you about it. We all have things that we feel strongly about, and it's no more tolerant to say someone is narrowminded if they say something you disagree with.

In the future, let's keep the discussion focused on Keith, or I will bring out the swiffer.

I'm not a capricious ogre or anything (just don't try to verify that with my kids LOL). I'm just trying to steer the conversation back onto the main road. Opinions are fine, broad- or narrow-minded, and we are going to disagree on a variety of things. The goal here, tho, is to stick to what we totally agree on: That Keith is deliciously sexy and we're going to try to find as many ways to express that as possible!
