Subject: It does seem like he's going to replace him,but I am torn now-I feel that way about Alexion,too!He lives in Katoteros,he's got his own demon(Xirena) now,I think MsE said something about him basically having the powers of a God(Ash) so i can't see him just fading into the background.It's so hard to say what might happen! *G* I don't know if I want to see her dangle him in front of us and drag his story out ,though-hasn't SK tortured US enough?!?!? *VBG* I do agree with you about the Dark-Hunter stories being stronger,I think the question of the soul,on top of the tortures and betrayals they endured thousands of years ago,makes them so compelling.

[> I don't agree that Savitar is going to take over for Ash once Ash gets his books. Unlike the Hunters who get their souls back and become mortal -- Ash is first and foremost a god. So, that whole immortality thing isn't an issue for him. Plus, just because he finds his soulmate doesn't mean that there's an end to all the strife. I think it's entirely probable that he and his-as-yet-confirmed-heroine will be in the thick of things for many books to come. Just because Alexion has Danger doesn't mean that he's any less the defender for Ash. On the other hand, I think Savitar is one heck of an interesting man..er..god...um..being?
