Ideas:

1) Increase the entrance fee (OK maybe not to �400), but �60 is cheap compared to many other race sports. Discount this fee for paid up members of BGSA, to encourrage mambership. Increase the fee as the event draws nearer to encourrage advance payment and help accounting.

2) Contact a professional event organiser who is willing to take this on. Either on a commission or one off fee basis. Make our requirements clear from the outset and give them measurable targets for sponsorship.

3) Form a Highland Wheels Extreme committee, to allocate organisational tasks and fundraising.

4) Give up.

5) Form an underground bandit run club and do the M62, private circuits without permission, get speed camera'd, be on crimewatch and become notorious public enemies. Infamy rules.

These are just ideas guys. What does the panel think? Should we meet up sometime and discuss?
