When the kettle whistled she stood, grabbing two coffee cups and then the cocoa mix, making two cups and then heading to the fridge to get the cool whip, plopping it on the top before she frowned, realizing she had blocked her own path to her marshmellows, damnit. She headed back over, giving him a mug before she sat back, watching him for a second before she spoke. "You and Dag have lots in common. Our marriage was arranged, I know, crazy sounding isn't it? Most people don't think stuff like that still happens." She smirked a little, running her hand around her mug. "Needless to say, neither one of us was overly excited to be getting married but by the time the ceremony came along I was getting a little bit attached to him....and then he left me during the reception. Thats a big thing here, the reception ceremony, there's this big dance between the bride and groom, there was hundreds of people here and right before the announcements and the dance he just...he got scared and he left." She shook her head, smirking lightly. "I've never cried so hard in my life..." She looked up at him, letting out a soft breath. "She's probably just hurt and embarassed right now, I bet you didn't talk to her about any of your fears about getting married huh?" She shook her head. "Neither did Dag...our first six months or so of marriage...it was bad because we hadn't talked about any of our fears, you know? It wasn't that we didn't want and care about each other...it was just that we weren't communicating like we should have been..." She nodded at that, standing up. "Of course, I'll show you the way back to your room." She looked over at Dare, her eyes soft on her husband for a second. "We can talk more in the morning about business, Dare, Gavin and Loch have had their share of run in's with this Wallace guy that could probably help you some." She stated softly before she started leading the way up to the stairs to the other wing of the house. "So, on a more pleasant topic, whats been going on in your life?"
