 ~+~*You had been there about an hour when you bumped into something. You sat up in the water (taking note that you were well into the Dragon's territory, not that it would hurt you) and looked behind you. There was a girl floating there. She was probably only fifteen or so- still a child.

It wasn't someone you recognized. It wasn't even a race you recognized. Her skin was marked with stripes like those of a tiger, but in VERY pale red and blue- with deeper yellow bands of coloration around the eyes and on her hands and feet. Her hair was multicolored- red, yellow, blue, green, and pink mostly. Colors were random, growing in chunks about the size of a gold ball across her head.

Her ears, which would have normally identified a creature looking like her as some kind of anthromorph, raised further questions. They were essentially elf ears that curved hald way and arched up- forming a complete half circle and then pointing straight up with the outer edge parallel to the base of the ear.

Her clothes were practically non-existent. She was wearing, basically, a green strapless bra that had a decorative shoulder piece that would hang loosly (probably halfway to her elbows) if she were standing up. The entire back was adorned with braided chords that were cloating around her, each one with come sort of ornament tied at the end. About six of them were feathers from different birds, one was a strang of silvery hair, two were wings (that appeared to be from some sort of MASSIVE dragonfly- each wing was about six inches long), and the rest were ornate bits of fur. Had she been standing, those tassles would have reached the back of her knees most likely.

She was wearing a bikini made from the same material as the bra, and it was similarly designed. There were two straps that went around her hips to keep it in place, and two others that were off to the side- the first loke a band around her hips, the other hanging lower on her legs. There were only a few decorations on the underpants, all of which were fastened to the sides rather than hanging freely. It was mostly fur and feathers, but there WAS a strip of ornate silk on the left side. It didn't appear to be something that her people would have made if she was currently in native dress.

Then you noticed something odd. You ecamined her hands- she had no fingernails. She had no toenails, nor did she have a belly button. There were no creases in her skin, no palm lines, no finger prints- her skin was completely and totally smooth. She was certainly.... different.

Instinctively, you reached for her neck to check her pulse. You didn't find one, and her skin was as hard as it was smooth. She was cold, as well.*~+~

(Don't worry, this isn't going to be one of those 'little girls at the lake' things xD)
