You weren't surprised by the tension when you heard the Mandragoras outside go silent, and Nayaki practically tripped over herself to get away from the door.

It was... Yuki? He had been VERY thoroughly beaten, literally within an inch of his life- and he hadn't stopped yet to bother with healing his wounds. That alone was frightening enough, but it was the look in his eyes that disturbed you the most. You had never seen a frightened Yuki, but it boredered on the insanity that had claimed him the night that Kaze died.

He stopped in the door, literally dripping blood and looked around slowly. The fear that you saw was masked by a blank expression.

You saw very obvious relief to both Yuki and Fenrir after a few momsnts. In a gesture that didn't fit either of them, they closed the distance between them and actually embraced each other as though they were brothers.*~+~
