The problem with all of this was that he didnt trust anyone that was in the field with Haylie.. he trusted Skeeter, Remy and Haylie.. that was it. Gia may have saved her life that day, but she was the reason they were in this mess and that destroyed any trust she might have earned from him. He wasn't the easiest person to gain a foothold with.. and once you lost it that was it. He growled, his jaw setting as he looked at the cieling again.) She also got them in there in the first place, Skeeter. (It would not be pretty when he was face to face with Gia again, that was for damn sure.)
