(He had shaken his head in a softly teasing manner at the way she so easily aroused him with just her words.. not to mention that heated kiss that promised everything she said would come to pass.) Oh, I have Shay's ring too.. (He said softly, pulling the white leather box from his pocket and handing it to her, they would give the couple their rings during the ceremony. He took the moment to kiss her cheek before she slipped from him and he was captivated into watching her saunter away from him. Clearing his throat, he went to find Remy.)

(He had gone through the details of his leave with the Commander, and gotten his advice on Shay taking his last name. Cmdr Courtland, a tall and handsome man in his late forties, had told him that it would be perfectly fine for him to share his name with her, that the harder he tried to protect everything around him the more it would seem like a good target to those that wanted to harm him. He had agreed with the greying Commander and set into pacing the front of the convention room until Kyrian had walked in.)

(He walked over to his friend, smirking as he did.) You look pretty happy with yourself, McLean. (He observed, coming to stand near the commander and crossing his hands at his waist, not letting Remy in on what was happening until he got a pointed look from his partner. Laughing a bit, being in the good mood that he was, he tipped his head a little towards the door.) Haylie went to go get her, they'll be down shortly.

(He shook his head as he eyed Kyrian, knowing the other man thought this was folly.. though he had no idea how wrong he was until Haylie had walked into the room and stood beside his partner. He had watched her brush her arm against his shoulder and then Kyrian's hand shifting as though it were no big thing, to close around her hand, holding it for a moment before his fingers twined with hers. He would have commented had the door not opened again. His eyes moved to her and all he could do was smile as his breath came out in a soft whoosh of a sigh. Shay, his dark haired activist, was a stunning angel in white.. and she made the man in him so very proud that for the first time in a long time his eyes stayed locked to hers without their usual shifting. He couldn't look away from her eyes, how soft and misted they were.. he knew then that she was his, had always been and would always be. He lifted his left hand a little, his palm up, inviting her to come to his side.)
