She couldn't handle him even saying those words, her head shaking her, her brow furrowed. "It should NOT have been you, Remy McLean, we need you here." She stated softly though firmly and stood up to gather her baby in her arms. Leaning down with Chase held close to her chest, she pressed a warm kiss to his lips and then straightened, heading into the nursery to put Chase down. She turned on his mobile when he whimpered a little and then she tenderly brushed back his curls before she turned on the monitor and took the other one back into the bedroom to set down on the nightstand. Quietly, she slipped into a pair of dorm pants and a tank top, her little fingers deftly moving through her thick blonde hair to put it in a braid for the night before she was all ready for bed and contentedly climbed in beneath the covers. "It's starting to get cold at night...Do you think the nursery is warm enough?" She was still new at this mom thing and she wasn't all sure she was doing all the right things to care for her son. Now, she had another baby on the way and she hadn't even had a chance to tell her parents or his or anyone really.
