I don't understand your statement blaming the private school transportation issue the reason for the long bus rides home.

Private school children take the Sr. High School bus in the a.m. to a transfer bus that takes them to their schools. In the p.m. they are taking an Englesby Late bus. As far as the Sr. High School Bus, my child waits at the same bus stop with other students who go to the Sr. High School, so there is no special route needed to pick her up!

So as you can see, they are not effecting the "Public school transportation"

As far as your comment about "taxes" you are right. However, your comments directed to private school students is prejudice! The following towns also provide transportation for their private school students: Lowell; Tyngsboro and Chelmsford.

The bus problems are stemming from (1) The new Jr. High not opening on time. (2) The Englesby now being a truly intermediate school town wide. (3) Poor planning prior to signing a bus contract.

I am very sorry that you live on a road that is not approved, however I stand behind you at town meeting to vote that these roads should be approved. I believe everyone in this town should be given the same services equitably.

Let me ask you one more question, since my child goes to "Private School" does that mean my child should not be permitted to play Dracut Recreation Sports, or attend High School Football games, or use anything at the school complexes? That is the tone that is coming across from you! (Just had to ask that ridiculous question)
