I think the MCAS test should have been around when you were in school. Then, maybe you'd be able to write a few paragraphs without all those spelling and grammatical errors. Seems to me all the teachers and liberal pukes (kind of redundant because aren't all teachers liberal pukes), are the ones against MCAS tests. I think they are a fantastic idea. You've got kids working as cashiers that don't even know how to count change properly. Give them $11.00 when your order comes to $5.50 and they don't understand that you're trying to get a five dollar bill back as change. Instead, it confuses the hell out of them. Yes, not all students learn at the same pace, but there are basic skills they should have to graduate. If they can't pass then, hmmmm, maybe they're not ready. Maybe that teacher who's so against the MCAS test because he or she so selfishly thinks of it as a poor reflection of his or her teaching skills should have spent more time identifying those students that need more help in the first place. Let's stop falling behind the rest of the developed world as far as our children's educations goes!!!
