Warren you are right! Most of these are individual losers in the monetary sense. However, that being said, using the library media center would be different. The building would already be there (If the new library gets build) and we would be simply taking greater advantage of its use. Some of these programs could even be funded by groups such as the endowment for the arts and if we had a cafe there, it could generate additional revenue. True it won't generate millions of dollars, but it could provide additional funds for the library that won't have to come out of the general budget. Perhaps it could even pay for its up keep, so the new library won't end up looking like the old "new" library (as you know, the library is one of the newest munincipal building in town). I know this will not solve all the revenue problems the town has, but a 5,000 mile journey starts with just one foot step.
