Shit. Well just shit. He hadn't meant to make her cry, he had just wanted to know if there was anyone who had been staying with her while she was in school and all that and now she was crying. He paused, turning slowly to face as he let out a soft breath, his hand running over his face. He had a feeling that she hadn't had a chance to really properly grieve for her brother, not in a healthy way but who was he to say anything if he had never fully dealt with his own repressed memories and pain? A low breath escaped his lips as he ran his hand over his bandana clad head and he bit his lip, clearing his throat as he moved over to her. "You won't be alone anymore." He just stated softly, it was the only thing he knew how to say and it was the only thing he could promise her - he wouldn't leave her alone. Even if he had to go on a mission, he would leave her with Shay or someone...she would never just be all by herself.
