He frowned deeply, looking down at her tiny little hand. "You're so small...I would crush you." He didn't specify what he was thinking of or how exactly he would crush her but in his mind he was picturing her tiny body beneath his, she would be invisible beneath his bulk. He let out a slow breath as he tipped his head down so his chin was nearly resting on his chest and closed his eyes, wanting to just calm down his still aching emotions. "You should try to go back to sleep, sweetheart, we have a week packed full of fun, remember?" He smiled softly, swallowing a little as he stood up. "Sleep with the ice packs on..." He turned to head out the door before he bit his lip and spoke again, keeping his back to her. "...and Reesey, maybe..maybe if you hear me again..you should just close my door."
